The Bear River T'aichi Ch'uan Society practices the Yang Family Style of T'ai Chi Ch'uan. Instructor Kayo Robertson, is a senior student of Benjamin Pang Jeng Lo. Ben Lo, founder of Universal T'ai Chi Ch'uan, is a senior disciple of Master Cheng Man-ch'ing. Robertson has studied T'ai Chi Ch'uan for 25 years and has taught for 15 years. Classes focus on the foundational principles that underlie all T'ai Chi movement.
Classes
Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Whittier Community Center, located on the corner of 3rd North and 4th East, Logan, Utah.
Beginning Class, 5:30-6:30
Form Correction, 6:30-7:30
Push Hands, As Arranged
Push hands classes are open to students who know the full form choreography, or upon invitation of the instructor.
Payment for classes may be by quarter, by month, or by class:
$100.00 Per Quarter
$ 45.00 Per Month
$ 5.00 Per Class
Push hands training is included in the quarterly tuition.
Private Lessons:
Private lessons, beyond those included in the cost of tuition are available and recommended for serious senior students. Contact Kayo Robertson, Glenn Leonard, Leslie Brown, or Molly Thomas Hysell.
Workshops:
Intensive workshops are offered once each quarter.
